History of TCF

Trinity Christian Fellowship began meeting as a body on February 27, 1983, led by Pastor Rex Schrolucke. For more than two years, we set up for Sunday worship in a school gym by moving in a large cross, altar railings, sound system, etc.

We were "Laying bricks in '86" and settled into our own building on six acres of land on Route 32. For the next ten years, we experienced typical growing pains with seasons of joy interspersed with times of struggle.

In the midst of discouragement, Pastor Rex went with a friend to a local prayer meeting where he was confronted with the words of a prophetess. He began to seek the Lord, declaring that change was coming.

And it came! Within a year, a prophet had joined the church staff, and trips were made to the Brownsville Revival and Toronto Renewal. We began meeting again on Sundays at a local school gym after a mighty move of God during a week of Revival services. Our congregation tripled, and people were drawn by the excitement of what God was doing in the "river" of renewal. Davidic worship with powerful music, dancing, and praise flags was led by our Praise Team and our own Dancing Pastor.

A Christian International prophet came to teach on prophesy and activated many in the body. Even the youth and children experienced being in the miraculous flow of the Spirit. We continue to offer this course in Hearing God I, II and III. More trainers came to raise up healing and deliverance teams in Restoring the Foundations prayer ministry. Ministers from all over the world came as God opened the doors, and we began to fulfill a prophetic word of "sending short term mission teams to the four corners of the earth. "

In 1999, the Lord led us to establish home groups for deeper relationships and outreach. We became acquainted with the trainings of DOVE Christian Fellowship, International, who continues to be a valuable resource on cell life for us.

After purchasing the adjoining six acres, we moved back to our original building and added a large multi-purpose sanctuary. An open space in the center invites worshippers to move and dance as they are led. The congregation has a heart for worship and is blessed as the Lord draws gifted musicians and singers to the worship team. A CD of live worship entitled "Breakthru" was produced in 2002.

Today, we are experiencing the love of the Father in deeper measures, becoming a part of God's Outpouring in this new spiritual season and learning to be a blessing to Him and to others. We thank Him for where we've been, but even more so for where we're going.
